Head Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Lowry is the lead physiotherapist and founder of MaxPhysio. Lowry graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in 2010 and has extensive experience working in the specialisms of orthopaedics and musculoskeletal.
Lowry has also worked with several high profile sports teams throughout her career including Munster development squads and Northbridge FC Premier league team Sydney.
Lowry has completed numerous post graduate courses in dry needling, manual therapy, shoulder rehabilitation, lower back dysfunction,biomechanical assessment, mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates and clinical rehabilitation of the neck.
Lowry teaches Mat and Reformer Pilates classes inorder to rehabilitate clients with injury and illness or for those who wish to become stronger.
Senior Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Jennifer began her career by qualifying as a Neuromuscular & Physical Therapist in Ireland in June 2008. She then moved to the UK and graduated with a BSc Hons Physiotherapy from the University of East London. Jennifer has completed her broad range of rotations at the Kings College Hospital London, one of London’s largest teaching hospital.
One of Jennifer's particular areas of interests is Trauma & Orthopaedics after spending 4 years working as a Senior Physiotherapist in this specialty in the large NHS teaching hospital at Milton Keynes. This role allowed her to work with pre and postoperative major joint replacement patients (knee, hip shoulder) as well as create and implement rehabilitation programs for ACL and other ligament repairs and traumatic fracture management. Jennifer also enjoys working with the Older person regarding Rehabilitation and Frailty.
Jennifer has done many postgraduate courses since qualifying including dry needling, Pilates and manual therapy courses. Jennifer is also particularly interested in breast cancer rehabilitation and is currently completing further courses regarding management of lymphedema, scar tissue and exercise management during rehabilitation.
Rhiannon Webby
Senior Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Rhiannon graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from Auckland University of Technology in 2014. She began her career working as a rotational Physiotherapist at Waikato Hospital, the largest hospital campus in the Southern Hemisphere. During her two years in this position, Rhiannon gained experience over a wide range of fields, including but not limited to respiratory and cardiac care, orthopaedics, older persons and rehabilitation, paediatrics, general and specialist surgery, and burns.
Pursuing her passion for musculoskeletal therapy, Rhiannon went on to spend the following two and a half years specializing in the outpatient musculoskeletal department at Waikato Hospital. Within this role she became well practiced in the management of chronic and rheumatic pain conditions. She worked closely with a team of Pain Specialists, and co-lead a chronic pain education and management program with an Occupational Therapist. Rhiannon also gained exposure to a heavy caseload of post-surgical patients, ranging from orthopaedic hip, knee and shoulder replacements, to oncology-related mastectomies and neck dissections.
Other areas of interest for Rhiannon include back and neck pain, shoulder problems, and tendon issues. She values a holistic approach to treatment, encompassing a range of hands on therapy, exercise prescription, and education to empower optimal long-term management. Continual professional development is very important to Rhiannon. She strives to keep up to date with the latest evidence within the physiotherapy scope, and completes regular ongoing formal training. She has a Post-graduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture, which also qualifies her to perform dry needling, and has also completed a range of courses relating to chronic pain management, back pain, Kinesio taping, and both mat and reformer Pilates.
Marie Condon
Senior Chartered Physiotherapist
Marie qualified with a first class honours BSc Physiotherapy from University of Limerick in 2011. She also received an award for best final year project from the ISCP for her research on Multiple Sclerosis.
Marie has spent the last eight years working across the spectrum of acute, rehabilitation and community based services within the field of Neurology and Gerontology in Ireland and Singapore. During this time she has worked with clients with conditions including stroke, brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia on an individual and group basis.
In 2016, she completed an MSc in Neurology and Gerontology with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She completed her MSc thesis on exercise post stroke.
Currently Marie is working as the Senior Physiotherapist on the Cork Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team. Marie continues to research in the areas of neurology and gerontology and has presented at national and international conferences and is involved in providing placements to undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students.
Marie joined MaxPhysio in 2019 and provides specialised treatment for clients with neurological and age related conditions.
